James and Paul from Clayworks attend the Owlsworth, Henley, Architects’ Day. We have the lunchtime slot and a captive audience of 30 conservation architects, to whom we introduce the concept of clay plasters…
Quite surprisingly, very few had ever come across clay used in such a way. Clay plaster is much better known on the continent; Germany and Holland have each known clay plasters for decades now.
Clayworks run monthly courses in clay plaster application in the UK for both novices and professionals. Details of our next course:

We are expanding our network of accredited UK and Ireland Clayworks clay plasterers – anyone can clay plaster. It’s healthy, easily worked and with no ‘going off” time, you are not against the clock.
Are you looking to branch into next generation building trades? Clay plaster will be one of them. Our customers are calling us from London to Kilkenny and everywhere in between and we need plasterers we can rely on.
Mail us on info@clay-works.com to join the network and give your clients new, beautiful, low carbon options. We’ll want to assess your skills – and maybe update you on a ‘top up’ training course (use of a plastic float?), but after that you have full access to our management team for updates and sales perks.
